		<description>This ranking is of little use. It measures a school&#039;s publication output. As a result, large universities, with many professors appear at the top. Schools like Dartmouth and Brown do not even appear in the top 50. 
There are four national publications that rank the quality of american universities (academic rankings):

1. US News &amp; World Report
2. The Atlantic
3. CollegeProwler (see “www.collegeprowler.com”)
4. The Princeton Review’s “Toughest Schools to Get Into” ranking</description>
